Parlez vous Français ?
If the answer is yes, then International Opportunities await you with a major French Construction Group
Subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, one of the world’s leading construction and services groups, Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe is a network of large building and civil engineering companies with over 8 700 employees based throughout Europe. The business turnover for 2008 was approximately €2.86bn with projects worth between €10 and €350m.
The Bouygues Group has been involved in large scale construction projects for 57 years, including a list of prestigious international projects such as the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre or the Hassan II Mosque in Morocco, the Sail@Marina Bay in Singapore or the Gautrain Rapid Rail Link in South Africa. On a European level, Bouygues Enterprises France-Europe has been shaping our leading cities via such projects as the Grande Arche at La Défense or the Stade de France in Paris, the Avignon viaducts or the Zenith Concert Hall in Strasbourg, the Home Office in London or the A41 motorway between Annecy and Geneva. To help deliver these complex projects, Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe is looking to recruit a diverse range of profiles from engineers, cost controllers and management accountants to purchasers.
Due to further international growth, the group is actively seeking to recruit non-French, French-speakers into the organisation: candidates must have a keen interest in living and working in France, be of graduate calibre and ideally from a construction or civil engineering discipline with 0 to 5 years industry experience. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to speak, read and write French to a reasonable level, however, you are not expected to be completely fluent.
Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe is also looking to recruit German-speakers: in addition to the above mentioned criteria, candidates should have a good working knowledge of German and be prepared to relocate to Switzerland.
In order to ensure a successful start to your career within the Bouygues Group, employees are given full support to help develop individual career paths. In addition, a limited number of places will be offered on their acclaimed European induction and development programme “Le Club Europe”, where you will have the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds.
After an initial period working alongside their experienced employees, learning the group’s approach to business and perfecting your language skills, you will have the opportunity to further your career either in France, your home country with the Group, or to contribute to the development of their international activities. Mobility within the group is facilitated by a dedicated HR team so if you yearn to experience a new culture and acquire a variety of professional experience, there is ample opportunity.
